I learned by watching the videos that I need to check how I respond to my child. If I am calm the situation has a great chance of staying calm. If I don't yell our conversation has a great chance of our getting our points out in a healthy way. If I don't blame there well be less blame shifting. I am the adult. I am to help my child understand how to live a healthy life. I am not responsible for how they respond but I need to set the best example of how to handle problems in life. The consequence videos taught me the consequences of my response and how to get more of what I need out of my children.
